The Washington’s Birthday Celebration Association (WBCA) has formally announced the entertainment lineup for the 2022 WBCA Stars & Stripes Air Show Spectacular Sponsored by Miller Lite. Along with the official lineup announcement, WBCA is honored to announce that the 23rd edition of the WBCA Stars & Stripes Air Show Spectacular will be dedicated to Lance Corporal David Lee Espinoza.
The WBCA Stars & Stripes Air Show Spectacular Sponsored by Miller Lite will take place during the 124th Washington’s Birthday Celebration on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at the Laredo International Airport (Maher Entrance). For a limited time only, WBCA will be offering general admission tickets for ONLY $5 until January 20th at 11:59 pm exclusively at wbcaairshow.org.

After January 20th, general admission tickets will be $10 for adults and free for children 12 and under. Additional sponsors include Falcon Bank.

This year the WBCA Stars & Stripes Air Show Spectacular Sponsored by Miller Lite will feature the F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team. The F-35A Demo team’s mission is to showcase the unique aerial capabilities of the Air Force’s most advanced 5th generation multi-role stealth fighter, the F-35A Lightning II, as well as highlight the history of their service through heritage formation flights.

Co-headlining the event will be the acrobatics from the Phillips 66 Aerostars, who have been performing together, side by side at around 250 mph, for more than a decade.

“We’re thrilled to be showcasing the very best the U.S. Air Force has to offer in the F-35A, along with the incredible aerial feats of the Phillips 66 Aerostars,” WBCA president Natalie Hernandez said. “We are also humbled and honored to be able to honor the memory of one of Laredo’s fallen heroes in Lance Corporal David Lee Espinoza by dedicating the WBCA Air Show to him and his family.”

Adding to the excitement will be a slew of amazing aerial and static displays which will include the work of world-renowned Air Show Commentator, Mike “Spanky” Galloway;
Aerial pilots: Greg “Ace Maker” Coyler, Randy Ball, Erik Edgren, and Bob Richards.
A REMAX Skydiving team, the Texas Army National Guard skydivers, Lewis Air Legends, and more.

The Air Show Sponsored by Miller Lite, will remain one of the most affordable air shows in the country – just $10 for adults, and children 12 and under will get in FREE. Early Bird Tickets for ONLY $5 will be available exclusively online at wbcaairshow.org until Jan. 20. After Jan. 26, tickets will be $10.

Preferred seating will also be available inside the grounds which includes the Flightline Chalet for $20.

The Flightline Chalet pre-sale ticket includes general admission to the air show grounds, access to static displays, sun and shaded seating area, premium viewing area, complimentary pizza, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, and exclusive restrooms.

The Afterburner Club Sponsored by Falcon Bank presale ticket includes general admission to the air show grounds, access to the static displays, guaranteed seats in the Afterburner Club, sun and shaded seating area, premium viewing area, complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages, complimentary alcoholic beverages, and exclusive restrooms. Individual tickets are $50. Tables of 10 are also available at the Afterburner Club for $500.
